Se desempeña como profesor de Contact Improvisation y Composición desde hace 1997 en distintos estudios de danza, festivales y escuelas de teatro en Argentina, España, Portugal, Suiza, Austria, Italia, Alemania y Bélgica en lugares como TanzHaus Nwr (Dusseldorf), Forum Dansa, C.E.M. (Lisboa), Area, Tragantdansa (Barcelona), Estudio 3 (Madrid), Centro Parraga (Murcia), International CI Festival of Freiburg, Easter ImproFestival (Alemania), Madrid CI Festival, International CI Festival de Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Ha estudiado Contact Improvisation con Andrew Harwood, Nancy Stark Smith, Chris Aiken, Cathy Caraker, Patrick Crowley, Debra Blutt, Martín Keogh, Daniel Lepkoff, Scott Wells, Eckard Muller. Danza Contemporánea y composición con Cristina Bosso, Gustavo Lezgart y Diana Szeimblum (Argentina), Jordy Vidal, Ted Stoffer, Roberto Olivan, David Hernández, Martin Kilvady, Akram Kham (Europa).

Participó de distintos festivales en Argentina y Europa como coreógrafo y performer. Integro distintas compañías de Danza en Buenos Aires. Dirige su propia compañía de danza desde 1999.

Es el director del Barcelona International Dance Exchange (B.I.D.E.) una plataforma para coreógrafos, bailarines, performers profesionales: www.bide.be

También es Músico y Compositor residente de la fundación Phonos de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona)."

Contact Improvisation is a ludic dance form based in the physical contact between the participants bodies. 

RJV is a project experimenting with interaction through hybrid modes of embodiment adapting or creatively applying  the possible interfaces between our and these bodies and worlds through which we also need to communicate globally.

Descrição 

Introdução à Análise do Movimento

Os métodos psicoterapêuticos têm normalmente o foco da sua intervenção no corpo ou na psique.

Na terapia pela Análise do Movimento, método Cary Rick, o movimento do dia a dia, é o elo de união visível entre corpo e psique. O movimento é interpretado como acção no seu contexto intersubjectivo específico.

O diagnóstico pela Análise do Movimento parte da ideia que a motricidade nunca explica as sensações ou o comportamento do indivíduo, mas, faz sentir à pessoa em movimento o conflito entre diversos impulsos de acção e que só a vivência deste conflito no contexto intersubjectivo, pode dar início à resolução do mesmo.

O método da Análise do Movimento desenvolveu-se da dançoterapia, que começou a existir nos anos quarenta em América.

Cary Rick fundou o Instituto de Análise do Movimento IAM (IBA) reconhecido pala ADTA, que se dedica ao ensino na Suíça, na Áustria, na Alemanha e em Portugal.www.istitutfürbewegungsanalyse.net

CILXJAM in Second Life

This video is an excerpt of a Real Virtual Games' experiment at the Contacto Improvisação Lx Jam, Nov. 23, at Sou/movimento e arte, Lisboa, Portugal. 

An extension of Real Virtual Games project, which develops interfaces for the embodied interaction between avatars and video streamed participants / performers.

 
In this trial, there is only the attempt of the avatar to interact with the performers. Continuing RVG, the intention is to familiarize and approach, instead of substituting, different modes of embodied communication (avatar-subjects' video image). Anticipating new 3D Metaverse, 3d environments that will problably expand the present and common email, chat, video and voice communication,  we are working towards creative and, of course, reciprocal interaction / interactivity.

We want to infuse virtual (and physical) bodies with less formatted, modeled movement behavior, and the possibility of opening avatars' vocabularies and interactive situations to other than solely club dancing and sexual encounters, on top of stereotyped common gestures copied from physical reality. 

We believe this hybrid environment can foster augmented modes of communication and play, including alternative forms of touch and fully engaged embodied modes of interfacing with and through the avatars, rather than just substituting our bodies by avatars, thus obliterating our physical body.
